Over 5,600 Join 10th International Yoga Day Hosted by Indian Embassy in Bangkok

Bangkok witnessed an exhilarating celebration of Yoga Day 2024, with over 5600 yoga enthusiasts gathering for a grand session organized by the Embassy of India in Bangkok at Chulalongkorn University. The event was graced by the Minister of Tourism & Sports of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Sermsak Pongpanit, as the chief guest.

Over 5,600 Join 10th International Yoga Day Hosted by Indian Embassy in Bangkok

The morning was filled with energy and positivity as participants of all ages and backgrounds came together to practice yoga, emphasizing the theme of “Yoga for Self and Society.” The event highlighted the global impact of yoga and its benefits for physical and mental well-being.

Renowned Yoga Guru Master Sanjiv led the session alongside an esteemed group of instructors, including:

Master Sanjiv Chaturvadi has been leading the stage since 2015 when International Yoga Day started.

Later, Rahul Autade took the stage and concluded the event with a serene five-minute meditation session.

Special recognition goes to Master Sanjiv and Jiraporn Suphachartkaisorn from Divine Yoga for their continued dedication to International Yoga Day since its inception in 2015.

Ambassador Mr. Nagesh Singh, along with other embassy staff, DCM, and councilors, worked tirelessly with the Indian diaspora over the past two months to prepare for IDY 2024. Ambassador Singh personally welcomed all the guests and practitioners, demonstrating his commitment and enthusiasm for the event.
